About the role#
Join the Talent Acquisition team as a Recruiting Specialist Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This 12-week, full-time internship provides hands-on experience in the recruitment of financial advisors. You will work with the Advisor Growth Center of Excellence and regional leaders to support recruiting operations and learn the fundamentals of talent acquisition in a financial services environment.
What you'll do#
- Build and maintain a pipeline of diverse candidates while tracking their progress through the selection process.
- Manage candidate outreach, communication, scheduling, and follow-ups.
- Support Career Overview meetings and learn how to present opportunities to prospective candidates.
- Coordinate logistics for recruiting events, including career fairs and job boards.
- Use systems like Workday and CRM tools to manage candidate data and reporting.
- Collaborate with recruiting specialists and leaders to identify process improvements.
- Shadow and support the implementation of the Recruiting Playbook and selection best practices.
What you'll need#
- Current college junior, senior, or recent college graduate.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Interest in recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR operations.
- Ability to take personal responsibility for the quality of work and maintain information confidentiality.
- Ability to work in the United States for an indefinite period without sponsorship.
- Familiarity with Workday or CRM tools is a plus.
Location & details#
- This role is remote with potential hybrid opportunities in Appleton or Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Minneapolis, Minnesota; Chicago, Illinois; and Indianapolis, Indiana.
- The position is paid with an hourly range of $23.00 to $26.00 per hour.
