About the role#
This internship supports the Walt Disney Imagineering team in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. You will contribute to civil engineering projects for attractions, land development, and theme park infrastructure. The term runs from January 2027 through June 2027. This is a full-time, on-site position.
What you'll do#
- Perform civil engineering design and calculation tasks.
- Provide engineering design and analysis under supervision.
- Coordinate work by communicating across structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering teams.
- Assist in producing construction contract documents.
- Support site and area development projects, including work on hydrology, hydraulics, sewerage, and utility systems.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled as a Junior or higher in an accredited Civil Engineering program.
- General knowledge of civil engineering curriculum, specifically grading, hydrology, hydraulics, and utility coordination.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Must be at least 18 years old and possess unrestricted work authorization.
- Active membership in a professional engineering organization is preferred.
- Engineer-in-Training certification is preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
- Pay: $31 per hour for undergraduates and $36 per hour for graduate students.
- Full availability is required for the duration of the program.
