About the role#
This is a full-time, six-month internship based in Orlando, Florida. You will work with the Disney Central team to build custom web applications that improve efficiency in our contact centers. The role focuses on creating secure, user-friendly tools that integrate with telephony and software-as-a-service products. You will work on-site from January 2027 through June 2027.
What you'll do#
- Write and maintain custom web and service-based applications using object-oriented languages like C#, Java, and JavaScript.
- Administer, build, and maintain databases and server infrastructure for custom and vendor applications.
- Use Git, GitHub, or GitLab to maintain well-documented code and manage version control.
- Create Continuous Delivery workflows using Jenkins and GitHub Actions for software deployment.
- Write Bash and Batch scripts to handle scheduled tasks and reporting jobs.
- Track project progress and communicate timelines using task management platforms.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with at least one object-oriented programming language such as C#, Java, or JavaScript.
- Working knowledge of SQL platforms including Informix, Postgres, or Microsoft SQL.
- Experience with version control and CI/CD platforms like Git, GitHub, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, in Orlando, Florida.
- Unrestricted work authorization and at least 18 years of age.
