About the role#
GIRO is hiring Software Development Interns for the Winter 2027 term. You will join a development team and work alongside experts in the public transit and postal services industries. This role offers experience in an agile environment and the chance to contribute to software products that support public transport and postal delivery.
What you'll do#
- Participate in the design and development phases of software products, including functional design, architecture, technical analysis, and programming.
- Develop new features for applications.
- Implement and test software functionalities.
- Manage and resolve software bugs.
- Provide technical support to development and project teams.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least two years of an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- A solid understanding of object-oriented programming.
- Proficiency in spoken and written French.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
