About the role#
This is a full-time, paid co-op position. You will join the Embedded Software team to contribute to both new and existing product designs. The term is 16 months, though 12 month terms may be available.
What you'll do#
- Support the development of new and existing product designs.
- Validate, test, and debug designs.
- Investigate and analyze products to recommend improvements for reliability, performance, and cost reduction.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a University Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering program.
- Knowledge of embedded C and C++ programming.
- Experience using Python for scripting.
- An understanding of real-time operating systems and multi-threaded real-time code.
- Knowledge of embedded systems design covering both hardware and software.
- A grasp of electrical engineering concepts and principles.
- Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multi-meters, and signal generators.
- Strong mathematical and analysis skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Strong communication skills and a self-starting approach.
