About the role#
We are looking for a Software Engineering Intern to join our Time Engineering team. You will gain hands-on experience building and scaling platform solutions that impact customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. You will work alongside engineers, product managers, and designers to solve real-world technical problems and contribute to user-facing features.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to build and deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.
- Write, test, and maintain applications and services using TypeScript, Postgres, and AWS in a serverless environment.
- Build with effective AI-driven development practices.
- Assist in optimizing systems and processes to drive customer acquisition, retention, and engagement.
- Learn and practice writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Participate in technical discussions, design reviews, and team code reviews.
- Help troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Stay curious about emerging technologies and best practices.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong foundational knowledge of software engineering principles, data structures, and algorithms.
- Academic or project experience with modern languages, preferably TypeScript, JavaScript, or backend systems.
- Familiarity with databases like Postgres or SQL and basic cloud concepts such as AWS.
- A lean mindset focused on delivering value, minimizing waste, and prioritizing iterative improvement.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a desire to learn.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
