About the role#
As a Park Yield Optimization Intern, you will join the Revenue Planning and Optimization team at Walt Disney World. You will help develop and execute yield management strategies for our four theme parks. This role involves working alongside decision-makers to analyze business performance and drive results for in-park events and admissions.
What you'll do#
- Perform strategic analysis of in-park events to drive profitability.
- Support inventory management strategy for hard-ticket events.
- Translate business questions into actionable plans for analysis.
- Improve data visualizations to help stakeholders make informed decisions.
- Build presentations that connect analysis to clear recommendations.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or Finance.
- Ability to query data using SQL.
- Strong familiarity with Microsoft Excel.
- Experience creating data visualizations with Tableau or PowerBI.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, on-site internship located in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
- The term runs from January 2027 through June 2027.
- Interns must be available to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- This position is paid.
- Candidates must provide their own housing and transportation in the Orlando area.
