About the role#
This is a 10-week paid summer internship program for Summer 2027. You will work on real-world projects to gain exposure to the energy industry. The program focuses on hands-on experience, mentorship, and professional development. You will work on-site to support initiatives that power and protect the Avangrid technology ecosystem.
What you'll do#
- Apply your academic knowledge to business, technical, and operational challenges.
- Work on projects related to cybersecurity, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation.
- Collaborate with professionals across different teams and business functions.
- Present your project outcomes, recommendations, and key findings to the team.
What you'll need#
- You are a Sophomore or Junior pursuing a Bachelor's degree, or a first-year Master's student.
- You are studying Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or a related field.
- You have a preferred GPA of 3.2 or higher.
- You can analyze information, solve problems, and communicate your findings clearly.
- You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Location & details#
This is a full-time, on-site internship. Positions are available in Orange, Connecticut; Augusta and Portland, Maine; Portland, Oregon; Rochester, New York; and Boston, Massachusetts.
