About the role#
The Global Engineering & Technology division at Disneyland Resort offers an internship for students to gain practical experience while contributing to engineering projects. You will work with engineers on tasks related to attractions, maintenance, and entertainment. The program runs from January to June 2027.
What you'll do#
- Draft technical documents and maintain onsite as-built records.
- Coordinate design efforts with outside consultants.
- Collect field data and conduct testing.
- Analyze conditions and recommend corrective actions with supporting justification.
- Develop attraction requirements and design new opportunities.
- Assist with sustaining engineering tasks, including downtime response and small improvement efforts.
- Prepare close-out documentation for various projects.
- Communicate work status and impacts on resort availability to team members and management.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Junior, Senior, or Graduate student in Mechanical Engineering at an accredited university.
- Strong leadership, technical, and interpersonal skills.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Matlab.
- A valid US driver's license.
- Ability to work various shifts based on project requirements.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.

- Compensation: $30.00 per hour for undergraduates, $35.00 per hour for graduate students.
