About the role#
This internship program provides professional development within the Global Engineering & Technology division at the Disneyland Resort. You will assist engineers on projects related to attractions, maintenance, and entertainment systems. This is a full-time, on-site position running from January through June 2027.
What you'll do#
- Design, test, document, and sustain hardware and software control systems for park-wide operations.
- Collaborate with project engineers to develop solutions using non-linear thinking.
- Participate in project estimating, scheduling, planning, and training activities.
- Perform system and hardware design reviews, including hazard and failure mode analysis.
- Provide clear communication regarding work status and impact to team members and management.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Junior, Senior, or Graduate student in Electrical Engineering with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Strong understanding of electronic principles, computer systems, and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) software.
- Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, DMMs, and function generators.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
- A valid US driver's license.
Location & details#
- Location: Anaheim, California.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January - June).
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Compensation: $30.00 per hour for undergraduates or $35.00 per hour for graduate students.
- Requirements: Interns must provide their own housing and transportation. You must have unrestricted work authorization.
