About the role#
This is a full-time internship for Winter 2027, running from January to June. You will work on-site in Anaheim, California, supporting the Costume Production department. This team manages the manufacturing and maintenance of costumes across Disney properties.
What you'll do#
- Partner with Entertainment and Costuming Operations to maintain costume quality and design standards.
- Communicate daily with workroom teams, buyers, designers, and management.
- Perform technical tasks including CAD/CAM processes, costume construction, and production management.
- Assist with draping, drafting, pattern making, millinery, alterations, and size charts.
- Attend meetings and observe or assist with costume fittings.
What you'll need#
- You must be a senior or graduate student enrolled in an accredited college or university, pursuing a degree in costume design, production, clothing, or a related field.
- Experience in the theater, film, or apparel industry is required.
- Proficiency in CAD software like CLO and Gerber/LECTRA is preferred.
- You need skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, technical design, and sketching.
- You must have a portfolio featuring your best 10 pieces.
- Strong knowledge of fabrics and construction techniques is essential.
- You must be at least 18 years old, possess unrestricted work authorization, and hold a valid US driver's license.
- You cannot have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program.

- Location: Anaheim, CA.
- This is an on-site, paid position at $22.00 per hour.
- You are responsible for your own housing and transportation.
