About the role#
The Walsh Group offers an internship program for students in the New Mexico region. This program provides hands-on experience in project engineering and field management to prepare you for future leadership roles. You will work on jobsites or in the office, with assignments matched to your academic and career goals.
What you'll do#
- Assist project managers or field supervision staff with day-to-day project coordination.
- Write RFIs and submittals.
- Help estimate costs for change orders.
- Solicit bidders and coordinate subcontractor activity.
- Manage safety protocols on site.
- Participate in team meetings and document control tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration.
- Ability to commit to a 12-week work schedule.
