About the role#
The Law Library Collections Department at The University of Tulsa is hiring a student to help process, organize, and maintain library materials. This is a paid, part-time position with flexible scheduling. You will work 10 to 20 hours per week around your academic commitments, with potential opportunities for summer work. We welcome students from majors including History, English, Communications, and Media Studies.
What you'll do#
- Process and label library materials.
- Perform data entry and update library records.
- Shelf and organize collections.
- Conduct inventory and quality-control checks.
- Support digitization, archival, and general collection maintenance projects.
What you'll need#
- Ability to follow detailed procedures.
- Strong time management skills.
- Comfort working both independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift and move materials up to 10 pounds.
- Physical ability to stand, bend, and reach while shelving.
