About the role#
We are looking for a Property Tax Compliance Intern to join us in Indianapolis for the summer of 2027. This is a full-time, on-site position. You will support our tax department by helping with the personal property compliance process, managing client documents, and assisting with special projects.
What you'll do#
- Prepare tax returns for existing clients.
- Research and review jurisdictional tax notices and tax bills.
- Process tax bills, funding requests, and payments.
- Analyze property tax data to assist with return preparation.
- Communicate with clients and taxing jurisdictions to resolve inquiries.
- Manage client documents, including scanning and uploading files.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle high-volume work with accuracy.
- Ability to learn new tax compliance software quickly.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
