About the role#
Junior Graphic Designers work with senior creative staff on a variety of projects. This role allows students to refine their existing skills while contributing to high-quality campaigns. You will gain experience across several design disciplines in a professional environment.
What you'll do#
- Create content involving typography, layout, branding, motion graphics, and web design.
- Collaborate with other designers, writers, and content creators.
- Communicate with senior staff and stakeholders to receive and implement feedback on your work.
- Manage your time effectively to meet deadlines while juggling multiple projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a degree-seeking student at a CES Institution (Ensign College, BYU-Pathway Worldwide, BYU, BYU-Idaho, or BYU-Hawaii Online).
- A portfolio demonstrating your design work.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Preferred but not required: working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Location & details#
- This is a part-time, paid position.
- The role is hybrid, with the potential to be fully remote depending on your location.
- You must be willing to reside and perform work in Utah or Idaho.
- Core business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with specific schedules determined upon hire.
- Only members of the Church who are worthy of a temple recommend qualify for employment.
