About the role#
The Management and Sales Summer Internship is a paid, 10-12-week program focused on retail store operations. You will gain hands-on experience in sales, marketing, and business management. The program includes time spent with a Sales Representative to learn about outside sales and collaboration with other interns on a project that addresses a real business challenge. This internship is designed for students pursuing degrees in Business Administration, Marketing, Operations Management, or Communications.
What you'll do#
- Provide friendly and professional assistance to customers in-store and over the phone.
- Maintain product displays and recommend items that meet customer needs.
- Restock shelves and contribute to visual merchandising efforts.
- Assist with point-of-sale transactions and product preparation and mixing.
- Collaborate with fellow interns on a team-based project that addresses a real business challenge.
What you'll need#
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be enrolled in a college or university at the time of the internship.
- Must be a rising or current Junior or Senior in college or university.
- Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
