About the role#
The Management and Sales Summer Internship is a paid, 10-12-week program designed to provide hands-on experience in retail store operations. You will gain insight into business-to-business sales by working alongside a Sales Representative and your local management team. This program covers professional learning areas including sales, marketing, merchandising, customer relationship management, and business management.
What you'll do#
- Provide friendly and professional assistance to customers in-store and over the phone.
- Maintain product displays and recommend items to customers.
- Assist with point-of-sale transactions, product preparation, and paint mixing.
- Collaborate with fellow interns on a team-based project that addresses a real business challenge.
- Participate in training sessions and follow store policies, safety guidelines, and loss prevention protocols.
What you'll need#
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be enrolled in a college or university, specifically a rising or current Junior or Senior.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or Operations Management.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
- A valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
