About the role#
The Sherwin-Williams Management and Sales Internship is a paid, 10-12-week summer program. It provides hands-on experience in retail stores, offering insight into management, sales, and store operations. You will work in a paint store to gain practical business-to-business and retail experience. The program includes traveling with a Sales Representative and working with management teams. You will also collaborate with other interns on a project that addresses a real business challenge.
What you'll do#
- Provide friendly and professional assistance to customers in-store and over the phone.
- Maintain product displays and recommend items to customers.
- Assist with point-of-sale transactions, product preparation, and product mixing.
- Perform general store maintenance.
- Restock shelves, manage inventory, and contribute to visual merchandising.
- Collaborate with fellow interns on a team-based project to address business challenges.
What you'll need#
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be enrolled in a college or university.
- Must be a rising or current Junior or Senior.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Operations Management.
- Ability to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
- Willingness to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
