About the role#
The Management and Sales Internship is a 10-12 week paid summer program. It provides hands-on experience in retail store operations, sales, and management. You will gain insight into business-to-business sales by traveling with a Sales Representative and working directly with the store management team. Interns also collaborate on a team-based project to address specific business challenges.
What you'll do#
- Provide friendly and professional assistance to customers in-store and over the phone.
- Maintain product displays and recommend items to customers.
- Restock shelves, manage inventory, and assist with visual merchandising.
- Handle point-of-sale transactions, prepare products, and perform general store maintenance.
- Work with fellow interns on a project to solve business issues.
What you'll need#
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be currently enrolled in a college or university.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs on occasion.
- Hold a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
- At least one year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service position.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Operations Management, or Supply Chain Management.
