About the role#
The Student Access workstudy position provides support for services including the Pathfinders program, the Testing Center, and campus transportation requests. This role involves assisting students with executive functioning skills, proctoring exams, and providing academic accommodations. This is an on-site, paid position with rolling terms.
What you'll do#
- Provide support to students working on executive functioning and other designated skills.
- Proctor exams while maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Provide exam accommodations such as scribing and reading for students.
- Assist with scheduling class transportation requests and operate a golf cart to transport students to and from classes.
- Provide in-class accommodations, including notetaking and technology assistance.
- Perform general office duties such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at The University of Tulsa.
- A valid driver's license.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and basic computer skills.
- Working knowledge of office equipment and procedures.
- Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to uphold confidentiality in compliance with FERPA, HIPAA, and ADA regulations.
- Preferred majors include Psychology, Communications, Business Administration, and Human Resources.
Location & details#
- Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma.
- Work modality: On-site.
- This position may require standing for extended periods and the occasional lifting of light office supplies.
