About the role#
The Student Access workstudy position supports services including the Pathfinders program, the Testing Center, and student transportation requests. This role involves direct interaction with students, faculty, and staff to provide necessary academic accommodations and administrative support. The position requires consistent attendance and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
What you'll do#
- Provide support to students working on executive functioning and other academic skills.
- Assist in proctoring exams while maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Provide exam accommodations, including scribing and reading for students.
- Provide in-class accommodations such as notetaking, technology assistance, and fine motor skills support.
- Schedule appointments for class transportation and drive the campus golf cart to transport students to and from classes.
- Perform general office duties including filing, photocopying, and data entry.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at the university.
- A valid driver's license.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and basic computer skills.
- Basic knowledge of office equipment and procedures.
- Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and maintain professional interactions.
- Ability to uphold confidentiality in compliance with relevant laws.
