About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Information Technology Cybersecurity Engineering Co-Op/Internship for the Winter 2027 term. You will gain hands-on experience across multiple cybersecurity domains, working with professionals to protect digital assets and secure the enterprise environment.
What you'll do#
- Evaluate and test security tools and technologies.
- Assist in secure configuration reviews and vulnerability assessments.
- Analyze and report on third-party risk.
- Assist in policy tuning and alert triage.
- Contribute to cloud security posture management.
- Participate in cybersecurity controls and architecture diagramming.
- Support vulnerability management, scanning, and automation workflows.
- Configure and monitor Microsoft Sentinel for security event correlation.
What you'll need#
- Junior level standing or above by January 2027.
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or Mathematics.
- Minimum 2.75 GPA.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience, such as volunteering, student organizations, or previous internships, is preferred.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to work full-time (36-40 hours per week) while maintaining student status.
- Successful completion of post-offer drug and alcohol screening, background check, physical, and functional capacity examination.
