About the role#
As a Supply Chain Operations Co-Op, you will work with our Supply Operations team in Tampa, Florida. You will gain hands-on experience by working alongside engineers and professionals on projects involving the storage and handling of materials like Anhydrous Ammonia, Molten Sulphur, and fertilizer products. This is a full-time, on-site position running from January 11, 2027, to April 23, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support supply chain projects and process improvement initiatives across multiple sites.
- Assist with business analysis, system evaluations, and SAP-related tasks.
- Use supply chain tools to help with inventory, logistics, and demand planning.
- Participate in maintenance processes and asset assessments to improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, and contractors.
- Attend project meetings to gain exposure to safety, logistics, and site operations.
- Communicate with various personnel, from plant operators to management.
What you'll need#
- Junior standing or higher by January 2027.
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
- A minimum GPA of 2.75.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel between sites.
- A TWIC card or the ability to obtain one.
- Ability to work in an industrial chemical and mining environment, including occasional outdoor work with exposure to varying temperatures.
- Basic computer skills and experience working in a team environment.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and climb stairs.
Location & details#
- This role is based at the Tampa Marine Terminal in Tampa, Florida, with regular travel to other Florida sites.
- This is a paid, full-time internship (36-40 hours per week).
