About the role#
As a Supply Chain Operations Co-Op or Intern, you will work with the Supply Operations team to gain hands-on experience with supply chain systems and tools. You will support the bulk storage and handling of materials, including Anhydrous Ammonia, Molten Sulphur, and finished fertilizer products, while contributing to inbound and outbound shipping activities. This is a full-time, on-site position based at the Tampa Marine Terminal with regular travel to other Florida sites.
What you'll do#
- Support supply chain projects and process improvement initiatives across multiple teams and sites.
- Assist with business analysis, system evaluations, and SAP-related activities.
- Participate in maintenance processes and asset assessments to support operational efficiency.
- Use supply chain tools to assist with inventory, logistics, and demand planning efforts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, engineering, and contractors.
- Attend team and project meetings to gain exposure to safety, logistics, and operations.
- Communicate with personnel at all levels, including management, plant operators, engineers, and tradespersons.
What you'll need#
- Junior standing or higher by January 2027, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum 2.75 GPA.
- Ability to obtain a TWIC card.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license for site travel.
- Ability to function in an industrial chemical and mining environment, including occasional outdoor work with exposure to varying temperatures.
- Basic computer skills and experience working in a team environment.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, climb stairs, and work at various heights.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
Location & details#
- Location: Tampa, Florida.
- Term: January 11, 2027, to April 23, 2027.
- Schedule: Full-time, 36-40 hours per week.
- Paid position.
