About the role#
Wilson Sporting Goods Co. is hiring a Data & Automation Student to work on-site at our apparel facility in Sparta, Tennessee. This part-time role focuses on supporting data operations within a manufacturing environment. You will gain experience in how operational data moves through production and contribute to process improvements.
What you'll do#
- Analyze, document, and support existing data management processes for custom orders.
- Identify and surface opportunities to improve data requests, reporting workflows, and handoffs.
- Assist in streamlining the printing, sorting, and distribution of job cards for production.
- Support the preparation, organization, and optimization of digital production folders.
- Update SAP systems with revised dates and create or group items for delivery.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a 2- or 4-year college or technical school.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to learn new software quickly.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented approach and comfort working with data and documentation.
- Preferred majors include Computer Science, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Operations Management.
Location & details#
- Location: Sparta, Tennessee.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Part-time, Monday through Friday between 6:00 AM and 4:00 PM, with a schedule designed to accommodate classes.
- Employment Type: Rolling term, part-time, paid position.
