About the role#
This internship focuses on the development of Electronic Design Automation (EDA) software for advanced PCB design. You will work from our Burlington office during the Fall 2026 semester, contributing to software tools that support modern hardware engineering.
What you'll do#
- Build and improve EDA software used for PCB design.
- Work with Agentic AI technologies to assist in PCB design generation.
- Gather data from technical experts and customers to write Product Requirement Specifications.
- Test layout tools and provide feedback on user experience and functionality to development teams.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a BSEE or equivalent degree program.
- Coursework or experience in testing and developing electrical systems.
- A strong background in electronics, signal processing, and digital systems.
- Significant hands-on lab experience.
- Familiarity with hardware design tools such as KiCad, Cadence Allegro, Altium Designer, or Siemens Xpedition.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship based in Burlington, Massachusetts.
- The role is on-site and requires 40 hours of work per week.
- We are looking for students attending local schools near the Burlington office.
