About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience within the Supply Chain organization at The J.M. Smucker Co. You will work in areas such as Corporate Transportation, Corporate Warehousing, Customer Logistics, Commodities and Procurement, Supply Planning, Supply Chain Analytics, or Customer Supply Chain Initiatives. This is a full-time, paid position for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to support daily business needs and strategic projects.
- Use data analytics and KPIs to monitor performance and support decision-making.
- Lead and contribute to projects focused on process optimization and cost savings.
- Develop recommendations for stakeholders based on your project findings.
- Participate in department showcases, networking events, and job shadowing to broaden your supply chain knowledge.
What you'll need#
- Sophomore or Junior standing in an undergraduate program.
- Educational background in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Experience with analytics and AI tools.
- Ability to solve problems creatively and adapt to new challenges.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others across different functions.
Location & details#
- Location: Orrville, Ohio.
- Work Modality: Hybrid. You must be onsite a minimum of 9 days per month.
- Compensation: $19 to $24 per hour, based on your year of college at the start of the internship.
- Benefits: Includes paid corporate holidays and a housing stipend for those who relocate.
