About the role#
This is an 8-month internship within our Corporate Engineering organization. You will join a Process Engineering team that supports Research and Development. You will lead your own projects while gaining exposure to broader company initiatives. We offer paid compensation between $22 and $27 per hour, depending on your year of school. A housing stipend is available for those who relocate.
What you'll do#
- Partner with scientists, engineers, and technicians to complete multiple projects.
- Design and conduct experiments using pilot scale manufacturing equipment and analytical instruments.
- Analyze data and present your results to company leadership.
- Interface with equipment suppliers, manufacturing facilities, and cross-functional partners to reach project goals.
- Optimize processes, equipment, and finished product attributes.
What you'll need#
- Sophomore or Junior standing in school.
- Educational experience in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime.
- Comfort working in laboratory, pilot plant, and plant environments.
