About the role#
The Hanover Insurance Group is seeking a Medical Strategy Analyst Intern to join our Claims Department for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, 10-week on-site internship based in Worcester, Massachusetts. You will work directly with the Medical Strategy Business Analyst group to support business operations and data-driven projects.
What you'll do#
- Support the Medical Strategy Business Analyst group within the Claims Department.
- Develop and enhance proprietary business tools to improve agent partner operations.
- Collect, analyze, and report data to meet specific customer requirements.
- Create reports for field teams and customers to articulate business value.
- Communicate frequently with customers, external partners, and internal departments.
- Provide analytical support to ensure team results are accurate and validated.
- Present a final project to management at the end of the internship.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or advanced degree program.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Marketing, Data Science, Statistics, or Economics.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Ability to commit to a full-time 10-week schedule.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Background in marketing, sales, or customer service is preferred.
- Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
