About the role#
The Hanover Insurance Group is seeking an intern for the Summer 2027 program within the Contract Surety Underwriting team. This is a full-time, 10-week position based in Dallas, Texas. You will work in a hybrid model, with expectations to be in the office two days per week.
What you'll do#
- Support underwriting functions by working alongside Underwriters, Technicians, and Associates.
- Assist with underwriting transactions, agency relationships, and compliance documentation.
- Prepare data and follow up on outstanding issues.
- Perform line of business analyses to evaluate specific accounts.
- Create and deliver a final presentation for management and leadership members at the end of the program.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelors or advanced degree program, specifically in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Ability to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship.
