About the role#
The Learning & Development Intern supports the design, delivery, and administration of training programs for the Family History Department. This role contributes to new hire onboarding, new manager development, and broader learning initiatives. You will work on-site in Lehi, Utah, as part of a full-time, one-year assignment.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate training logistics, manage calendars, and create class invitations.
- Respond to questions from new hires, managers, and course participants via a shared email account.
- Present or co-present onboarding and other department learning sessions.
- Track training participation, completion records, and feedback metrics.
- Facilitate focus groups and gather stakeholder input.
- Assist managers in navigating learning resources and support Talent & Culture projects.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an educational institution or graduation within the last year.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong presentation, facilitation, and public speaking abilities.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools, including SharePoint, Teams, and Excel.
- Ability to build positive relationships with learners and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
- Majors in Business Administration, Communications, or Human Resources are preferred.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time position (40 hours per week).
- The role is based in Lehi, Utah, and requires in-person attendance.
- Work hours are generally flexible, though attendance at scheduled training events is required. Some sessions may occur outside standard hours to accommodate global participants.
