    About the role#

    As a Project Controls Intern, you will support project teams by tracking costs, analyzing schedules, and monitoring productivity. You will work alongside project managers, operations teams, and trade partners to implement processes that drive budget performance and schedule adherence. This role provides exposure to earned value management, production planning, forecasting, change management, and financial reporting. You will develop an understanding of how major construction projects are planned, executed, and controlled.

    What you'll do#

    • Support project teams by tracking costs and analyzing schedules.
    • Monitor productivity and forecast financial performance.
    • Identify opportunities to improve project outcomes.
    • Implement controls processes to drive project success.
    • Work on a variety of project delivery methods.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment as a Junior or Senior in an accredited undergraduate program.
    • Preferred majors include Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related fields.
    • Strong communication skills, including comfort with making cold and warm phone calls to build relationships.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
    • Ability to work effectively with minimum supervision.
    • Goal-oriented mindset with a focus on personal development.
    • Evidence of high academic achievement and prior elected leadership experience are preferred.
    • Authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

    • Compensation: $21 to $25 per hour
