About the role#
As a Real Estate Development Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting the planning and execution of commercial real estate development projects. The work focuses on senior housing and outpatient medical facilities. You will work alongside development professionals to learn the full development lifecycle while building analytical and project management skills.
What you'll do#
- Conduct market and site analysis.
- Research demographic and development trends.
- Assist with site acquisition efforts.
- Build financial and demand models to evaluate project feasibility.
- Support zoning and entitlement research.
- Coordinate with consultants and project partners.
- Create client-facing presentations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Junior or Senior in an accredited undergraduate program.
- Preferred majors include Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or related fields.
- Strong communication skills, including comfort with cold and warm phone calls.
- A strong desire and aptitude to pursue a career in commercial real estate.
- Goal-oriented mindset with a focus on personal development.
- Evidence of high academic achievement.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Passion for the construction industry.
- Current or prior elected leadership experience is preferred.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
