About the role#
As a Project Controls Intern, you will support project teams by tracking costs and monitoring productivity. You will work alongside project managers and operations teams to implement controls processes that drive schedule adherence and budget performance. This role provides exposure to earned value management, production planning, financial reporting, and change management.
What you'll do#
- Analyze project schedules and forecast financial performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve project outcomes.
- Collaborate with trade partners to ensure project success.
- Develop an understanding of how major construction projects are planned and executed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Junior or Senior at an accredited college or university.
- Preferred majors include Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related fields.
- Evidence of high academic achievement.
- Strong communication skills and a goal-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
- Ability to work effectively with minimum supervision.
- Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
- Prior elected leadership experience is preferred.
