About the role#
As a Project Engineer Intern at The Boldt Company, you will work alongside project engineers, superintendents, and craft professionals. This role focuses on supporting the successful delivery of construction projects through hands-on involvement and team collaboration. You will gain experience in project execution while building professional relationships across the organization.
What you'll do#
- Assist in gathering, evaluating, and coordinating information to ensure work aligns with contract documents.
- Participate in project planning, safety planning, sequencing, and subcontractor coordination.
- Contribute to project processes including RFIs, submittals, operations and maintenance manuals, warranties, and project close-out activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Junior or Senior in an undergraduate program at an accredited college or university.
- Preferred majors include Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related fields.
- Evidence of high academic achievement.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- A desire to work in the construction industry.
- Prior work experience, internship, or trade experience is preferred.
- Elected leadership experience is preferred.
- Authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
