About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience supporting cybersecurity activities for the ADI program. You will work within a large-scale technology implementation and operational environment, assisting with security documentation, risk tracking, and coordination with technical and business partners. This is a paid, part-time position for Winter 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist with documenting and tracking cybersecurity requirements, controls, risk items, findings, and remediation actions.
- Support reviews of user access, roles, permissions, and related evidence.
- Help organize security findings, test results, exceptions, and follow-up actions, escalating concerns to the appropriate team member.
- Develop and maintain procedures, inventories, diagrams, meeting notes, and other project artifacts.
- Support security communications and work with ADI, Technology, vendor, and business teams to promote secure practices.
- Participate in emergency response and recovery activities during storms.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Junior, Senior, or Graduate student standing is preferred.
- For co-op students, enrollment in your university's co-op program is required.
- Basic knowledge of security principles, threats, vulnerabilities, risk, controls, and secure system practices.
- Familiarity with networks, operating systems, cloud concepts, identity and access management, or security tools.
- Strong written communication, organization, and documentation skills.
- Ability to assess information, identify inconsistencies, and handle sensitive information responsibly.

- Location: Brandon, Florida.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Availability: Part-time, typically 20-30 hours per week.
