About the role#
This internship supports the Strategy & Business Development group at Tampa Electric. You will assist with research, analysis, and coordination for strategic initiatives. This role provides exposure to corporate strategy, operations, regulatory affairs, and finance through participation on cross-functional teams.
What you'll do#
- Research industry trends, peer utility strategies, and regulatory developments to inform planning.
- Synthesize research findings into actionable insights.
- Support benchmarking and KPI analysis by identifying trends and variances.
- Translate analytical findings into summaries, visuals, and presentations for leadership updates.
- Partner with finance, engineering, operations, and regulatory teams to gather inputs.
- Assist in preparing materials for internal meetings and planning sessions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited university as an undergraduate or graduate student.
- Junior or Senior standing.
- Enrollment in a university co-op program or intern eligibility.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a business-related discipline.
