About the role#
This is a full stack engineering internship where your code ships to production. You will build features for a product used daily by hiring teams and candidates. Because our team is small, you will own features from a rough description through design, implementation, and release. You will work across the React frontend, backend services, and AI-driven workflows.
What you'll do#
- Build and ship user-facing features across the frontend and supporting backend services.
- Design and extend APIs, data models, and databases as features require.
- Write code that other engineers can read and extend, while also reviewing their work.
- Investigate bugs and performance issues in production to fix the underlying cause.
What you'll need#
- Strong fundamentals in JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Experience building with React, Next.js, or similar frontend frameworks.
- Comfort learning backend systems, APIs, and databases.
- A track record of shipping meaningful work, such as side projects, class projects, open-source contributions, or a prior internship.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn quickly.
- Ability to communicate clearly and work independently.
- Current enrollment in a Computer Science or Computer Engineering program.
