About the role#
This is a forward deployed engineering internship. You will focus on solving real workflow problems rather than working through a standard backlog. You will work directly with our internal operators and customers to identify operational bottlenecks and build the tools, scripts, or integrations needed to fix them. This role is for someone who prefers shipping practical solutions that remove immediate obstacles.
What you'll do#
- Build and maintain internal tools, scripts, and automations to solve operational bottlenecks.
- Work with APIs, data pipelines, and system integrations, including debugging when they fail.
- Collaborate with users and internal operators to identify and fix workflow breakdowns.
- Investigate data quality issues and trace them back to their source.
- Explain technical decisions and tradeoffs to non-technical teammates.
What you'll need#
- Strong coding fundamentals in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or a similar language.
- Comfort working with APIs, data, scripts, and technical debugging.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-engineers.
- A resourceful and practical approach to solving ambiguous problems.
- Experience being self-directed in a remote startup environment.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
