About the role#
As a Chief of Staff Intern, you will work directly with the founders at TalentPluto. This role involves tackling the most pressing issues of the week. You will scope questions, conduct research, form recommendations, and own the follow-through until tasks are complete. You will see how an early-stage company operates from the inside, including the unglamorous and undecided parts of the business. Because the team is small, you will handle real projects with genuine ownership.
What you'll do#
- Own discrete, high-impact projects from start to finish, including framing questions and driving recommendations.
- Research markets, competitors, customers, and internal data to produce clear written reports.
- Switch between strategy, analysis, and hands-on execution based on current needs.
- Create lightweight processes and documentation where none currently exists.
- Track team commitments to ensure decisions turn into action.
What you'll need#
- Strong judgment, organization, and the ability to follow through on work with limited supervision.
- Excellent written communication skills, specifically the ability to synthesize messy problems into clear arguments.
- Proficiency in research across both public sources and internal data.
- Comfort switching between strategy, analysis, and execution.
- Ability to work on ambiguous projects with limited structure.
- A high ownership mindset and the ability to self-direct in a remote environment.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, or Operations Management.

- This is a remote role based in the United States.
- The position is full-time and paid at $20 to $35 per hour.
