About the role#
As a Software Engineer Intern, you will build core products and architecture within our engineering team. You will ship features that are used by our customers and collaborate with a team that values open communication. We look for engineers who can scope and solve difficult technical challenges while working in a hybrid environment.
What you'll do#
- Design and build reliable, resilient products and features.
- Work with cross-functional product and customer-facing teams to understand requirements.
- Write high-quality, extensible, and maintainable code.
- Design and build scalable frontend applications and components.
- Develop APIs to drive new and existing features for web-based applications.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a BS or MS in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Experience with web applications and API development.
- Ability to quickly learn new frameworks, architecture patterns, and programming languages.
- Prior internship experience in a high-growth startup environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, hybrid role based in San Francisco, California.
- The internship term is Summer 2027, running from May to August or June to September.
- This position is paid at an estimated rate of $56 to $60 per hour.
- We provide catered meals, team events, Apple equipment, and an intern housing stipend.
