About the role#
Bild AI is tackling technical challenges in blueprint reading, cost estimation, and permit applications. This internship focuses on applying AI to make the construction of homes, hospitals, and schools more efficient. You will work on-site in San Francisco during the Summer 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Apply computer vision, LLMs, and AI systems to solve construction problems.
- Ship prototypes and iterate based on feedback from contractors and architects.
- Take sole ownership of an intern project, managing it from research through production.
What you'll need#
- Experience as a 0-to-1 builder with AI projects currently in production.
- A growth mindset and the ability to communicate directly with empathy and honesty.
- Willingness to engage in the unglamorous, hands-on work required to solve complex problems.
- Applied experience with computer vision or machine learning.
- Interest in construction, architecture, or real estate, and motivation to improve building affordability.
- Background in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Architecture.
