Software Engineer, Intern

About the role#

Pylon is seeking a Software Engineer Intern for Summer 2027 to contribute to our B2B post-sales support platform. This is a full-time, on-site role based in San Francisco. You will join an engineering team building tools that leverage conversational data and intelligence to streamline customer support and success workflows.

What you'll do#

• Build features that enable customers to operate post-sales workflows more efficiently using AI.
• Develop prototypes, iterate on designs, and ship product features quickly.
• Manage your own projects and work with a high degree of autonomy.
• Collaborate directly with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers in a non-waterfall environment.
• Work alongside a technical team with experience from industry-leading organizations.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or Data Science.
• Expected graduation date between December 2026 and Summer 2027.
• A growth mindset with a strong desire to learn and receive feedback.
• Relevant internship experience or personal projects demonstrating the ability to build product features.
• Familiarity with our core tech stack: React, Golang, GraphQL, and AWS.
