About the role#
This internship works directly with the founders of TalentPluto. You will work on live problems rather than practice tasks. The role involves scoping questions, conducting research, forming recommendations, and managing projects through to completion. You will see how an early-stage company functions from the inside, including the unglamorous and undecided parts of the business. Expect limited structure and frequent context switching.
What you'll do#
- Own high-impact projects from start to finish, from framing the initial question to execution.
- Research markets, competitors, customers, and internal data to produce clear written recommendations.
- Shift between strategy, analysis, and hands-on execution based on weekly needs.
- Build lightweight processes and documentation to improve team efficiency.
- Track commitments across the team to ensure decisions turn into action.
What you'll need#
- Strong judgment, organization, and the ability to follow through on work with limited supervision.
- Excellent written communication skills, specifically the ability to synthesize messy problems into clear arguments.
- Strong research skills using both public sources and internal data.
- Comfort switching between strategy, analysis, and execution.
- A high ownership mindset and the ability to work independently in a remote startup environment.
- Experience working on ambiguous projects with limited structure.
Location & details#
- This is a remote role based in the United States.
- The position is full-time and paid at $20 to $35 per hour.
- We are accepting applications on a rolling basis.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Economics, Communications, and Computer Science.
