About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in healthcare business development. You will support our 340B and Business Development teams by identifying market opportunities and assisting with growth initiatives. You will learn about the 340B Drug Pricing Program, pharmacy operations, and compliance while working alongside internal stakeholders.
What you'll do#
- Research and identify potential 340B covered entities, including hospitals, clinics, and health systems.
- Build and maintain prospect lists by validating contact information in CRM tools.
- Prepare materials for outreach campaigns, such as call lists, email drafts, and account briefs.
- Document notes and action items during internal meetings and project discussions.
- Collaborate with teams across pharmacy operations, compliance, and business development.
- Handle confidential company and client information according to company policy.
What you'll need#
- Senior standing in a four-year degree program for Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or Health Administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to research, organize, and analyze data with high attention to detail.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
