About the role#
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineering Summer Intern to join our team in Charlotte. You will work alongside our engineering staff to support the design of technical building systems. This position offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience through project work and our internal education program.
What you'll do#
- Assist engineers with the preparation of design documentation.
- Create AutoCAD and Revit drawings for mechanical systems.
- Help with design calculations and the sizing of building mechanical systems.
- Participate in field investigations and construction site visits to observe project progress.
- Attend lunch-and-learn sessions as part of the intern education program.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor degree program for Mechanical Engineering at an accredited university.
- Completion of at least your second year of studies.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
- Basic knowledge of design and calculation software.
- Previous engineering internship or co-op experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with the latest versions of MEP AutoCAD and Revit is a plus.
