About the role#
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineering student to join our team as a Summer Intern in Charlotte. You will work alongside our engineering teams to support project designs and gain hands-on experience in the field.
What you'll do#
- Support engineering teams with the production of design documentation.
- Create AutoCAD and Revit drawings for mechanical systems.
- Assist with design calculations and the sizing of building mechanical systems.
- Participate in field investigations and construction site visits to observe project progress.
- Attend lunch-and-learn sessions as part of the intern education program.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
- Must be at least in your second year of study.
- Basic knowledge of design and calculation software, as well as the MS Office Suite.
- Previous engineering internship or co-op experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with the latest versions of MEP AutoCAD and Revit is a plus.
