About the role#
We are hiring an ICT Summer Intern to join our team in Charlotte. This position offers hands-on experience working alongside our engineers on various projects. You will participate in our Intern Education Program, which includes lunch-and-learn sessions and site visits to help you prepare for a career in engineering.
What you'll do#
- Assist engineers with the preparation of design documentation.
- Create AutoCAD and Revit drawings for electrical systems.
- Help with design calculations and the sizing of building electrical systems.
- Support field investigations and construction site visits to observe project progress.
- Participate in the intern education program through scheduled lunch-and-learn sessions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor degree program for Electrical Engineering at an accredited university.
- Completion of at least your second year of study.
- Basic knowledge of design and calculation software as well as the MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work well in a team setting while maintaining the flexibility to work independently.
- An eagerness to expand your technical knowledge.
- Previous engineering internship or co-op experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with the latest version of MEP AutoCAD and Revit is a plus.
