About the role#
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our Industrial/Energy team in Wichita. You will work on a variety of projects, including refineries, ammonia and fertilizer plants, and logistics terminals. This is a full-time, on-site role.
What you'll do#
- Work directly with licensed engineers, project managers, and designers.
- Learn the full design process from start to finish.
- Gain experience by working on real-world projects.
- Learn and use industry-specific design software.
- Assist the project team in meeting client expectations and schedules.
What you'll need#
- You are actively pursuing a Mechanical Engineering degree from an ABET accredited program.
- You have experience with Microsoft Office.
- Exposure to or awareness of AutoCAD or Solidworks is preferred.
- You have excellent time management, written, and verbal communication skills.
- You possess a positive attitude and a strong desire to be part of a team-oriented culture.
- You are legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
