About the role#
We are looking for a Structural Engineering Intern to join our team in Wichita. You will contribute to projects within our Architectural Engineering or Industrial/Energy service areas. This is a full-time, on-site position.
What you'll do#
- Gain experience on real-world projects such as commercial buildings, schools, hospitals, hotels, churches, warehouses, manufacturing facilities, oil and gas refineries, and rail terminals.
- Learn and use industry-specific design software.
- Work directly with licensed engineers, project managers, and designers.
- Learn the full design process from start to finish.
- Assist the project team in meeting client expectations and schedules.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Structural or Architectural Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or RISA is preferred.
- Strong time management, written, and verbal communication skills.
- A positive attitude and a desire to learn in a team-oriented environment.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
