About the role#
We are looking for Civil Engineering Interns to join our team in Overland Park, Kansas. This is a full-time, on-site role where you will support our work in land development, public works, and transportation. You will gain experience across a range of projects including residential and commercial developments, schools, healthcare facilities, athletic facilities, roadways, streets, and bridges.
What you'll do#
- Work directly with licensed engineers, project managers, and designers.
- Learn and use industry-specific design software like AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Assist the project team in meeting client expectations and project schedules.
- Learn the full design process from start to finish.
What you'll need#
- You are actively pursuing an engineering degree from an ABET accredited program.
- You have experience with Microsoft Office.
- Exposure to or awareness of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or Microstation is preferred.
- You have a strong desire to be part of a team-oriented culture.
- You possess a positive attitude, enthusiasm, and an eagerness to learn.
- You have excellent time management, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- You are legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
