About the role#
We are looking for an Electrical Engineering Intern to join our Industrial and Energy team in Wichita. You will work on-site to support the design of projects including refineries, fertilizer plants, and logistics terminals. This is a full-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Work on real-world projects to gain diverse experience.
- Learn and use industry-specific design software.
- Collaborate directly with licensed engineers, project managers, and designers.
- Follow the full design process from start to finish.
- Assist the team in meeting client expectations and project schedules.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in an Electrical Engineering degree program from an ABET accredited school.
- Experience using Microsoft Office.
- Exposure to or awareness of AutoCAD is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective time management skills.
- A positive attitude and an eagerness to learn.
- A desire to work within a team-oriented culture.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
